FPAC Call for Artists

FPAC @ Grand Park Call for Artists

FilAm ARTS is seeking artists for FPAC @ Grand Park—the 23rd annual Festival of Philippine Arts and Culture to be held at 227 N. Spring St, downtown Los Angeles on October 4-5, 2014.

Submissions are due by August 15, 2014

FilAm ARTS seeks all levels of talent to participate and submit their work. The festival is open to all disciplines of art including Traditional Folk Art, Dance, Theatre, Music, Visual Arts, Media Arts, Literary Arts, Public Art, and Arts Education. A submission of your application is an opportunity to reach an audience of over 25,000 people during the FPAC weekend. All applicants  are invited to join the Pilipino Artist Network (PAN), which connects artists to valuable resources across the state.

All submissions will go through a Curatorial Panel where field experts will review each work to highlight the diversity of the Filipino experience, looking out for artistic quality and potential audience reach.

Consignment opportunities are also available at the Pilipino Artists Network (PAN) Pavilion to sell visual art and handmade, one-of-a-kind crafts.

Celebrating its 23rd anniversary, FPAC is the largest celebration of Filipino arts and culture in Southern California, with the most extensive gathering of multidisciplinary Filipino artists every year. The festival is FREE and open to the public.
