Shipping charge - $3.99 for the first book; $2.50 for the second book and $2.00 for third and subsequent copies.

The event is part of the ongoing community outreach program of Philippine Expressions Bookshop. Established in 1984, the bookshop blazed the trail in the US in promoting Philippine books written in English and Pilipino for all ages. Filipiniana specialist and founder Linda Nietes-Little dedicated the bookshop to Americans of Filipino heritage who are searching for their roots. 2017 marks thirty-three years of service to the community. This new San Pedro bookshop was Blessed on on October 1, 2016 and formally inaugurated on October 14, 2016. Open on Thursday and Friday from 3:00pm - 6:00pm and on Saturday, by appointment only. Also open on FIRST THURDAY of every month for the San Pedro Art Walk from 3:00pm - 8:00pm. Tel 310-514-9139.


The following books will be available during the Pinay Gathering at our bookshop on Saturday, March 25 from 2pm - 6pm. Do come and hear the ten authors talk about their books, what they are all about and how they came about. It will a fun afternoon of sharing and reminiscing; hope that you will support our Pinay authors with your presence. If you have not been to our bookshop, this will be your chance not only to browse, but to meet new friends and network. 10% discount on all books including other titles on the shelves on this day only. 10% discount on repeat orders until March 31, 2017.

BTW, Albert Mortiz who wrote the book "Discover the Philippines" Cookbook will prepare some merienda items from his cookbook. So come and taste them as well! We look forward to your support! Tickets are still available. Also, students with proper IDs, senior citizens and authors (not featured in Pinay Gathering) $5.00 entrance fee. All others $15.00 Your entrance fee will cover the merienda and the costs involved in the programming. Everyone is encouraged to get
